The Astropy Project: Code, Education, and Community
This poster will describe recent updates to the functionality of the astropy package and highlight planned depreciations. We will also describe the Learn Astropy project which includes tutorials and an example gallery and ways for other projects to use this infrastructure to distribute their educational materials. Finally, we will describe the governance structure of the Astropy Project, highlighting opportunities for people to get involved.
