ADASSXXIX is the official mobile app of the ADASS conference which will be held in Groningen, the Netherlands from October 6 until October 10 2019.
ADASSXXIX respects the privacy of all users. Any collected user data are kept for no longer than is necessary for the purpose for which they were collected, and will not be used for purposes that are not compatible with the original purpose.
Personal data is adequately secured and treated with the utmost care. ADASSXXIX pays careful attention to privacy in all its processes and activities.
Provision to third parties
ADASSXXIX does not share personal data with third parties.
Rights of data subjects
ADASSXXIX processes any acquired data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Data subjects have the right to access, amend, delete or limit the data ADASSXXIX holds about them, or to transfer them to third parties.
Right to access
You may request a summary of the acquired data at any time by contacting helpdesk@strw.leidenuniv.nl. We will explain why we use these data, for how long and what to do in the presence of inaccuracies.
Correcting or supplementing your data (rectification)
If there are errors or omissions in the personal data held by ADASSXXIX about you, you may submit a request for rectification.
Deleting your personal data (right to be forgotten)
You may request that we delete your data from our systems at any time. This can also be achieved by unsubscribing from ADASSXXIX push notifications.
Transferring your data (data portability)
You may request a copy of the data we hold about you by contacting helpdesk@strw.leidenuniv.nl.
Temporarily halting the processing of your personal data (restriction)
If you wish to temporarily halt the processing of your data, you can either contact helpdesk@strw.leidenuniv.nl or disable push notifications for ADASSXXIX.
Objecting to the processing of your data
Data subjects can exercise the right to object to the processing of data held about them. This can be done by contacting helpdesk@strw.leidenuniv.nl.
How ADASSXXIX uses your data
ADASSXXIX allows users to subscribe to push notifications. Upon subscription, a mobile device unique identifier (token) is generated and sent to our server where it will be stored and used to push notifications to the subscribed device. The token is not associated to any personal information, hardware address (MAC address) and IP address, but only to the operating system (OS) of the subscribed device. Push notifications are general, that is they are independent of the user and not customisable. They are only used to communicate latest news to subscribed ADASSXXIX users. ADASSXXIX push notifications will not be used at any time for advertising purposes.
