Developing and Improving the ELT/HARMONI Science Simulation Pipeline, HSIM
Presentation of my work developing and improving the science simulation pipeline that has been developed for the upcoming ELT first light instrument, HARMONI. This is a tool developed to aid science prediction, and allow for analysis pipelines to be created on realistic simulated data. This will demonstrate several improvements that have been added recently, including improving the predictions for the performance of the adaptive optics system, and adding realistic effects that will be seen on the Near-IR detectors.
